Grab your Barrel One bagel and head down to The Office (aka East Esplanade Park). This strip on the harbour foreshore next to Manly Wharf is a local favourite. Picnic and swim by day, unofficial party venue by night. On a warm summer evening it's tough to get a spot on the grass but worth it for the view and good vibes. Get down there for sunset and byo snacks and drinks before 8pm.

Barrel One - Arguably the best coffee on the beaches. Also must try their New York-style sandwiches and bagels. Our pick is the 'classic' bagel.
